Area Foremen

A minimum 5 years experience hanging and/or finishing is required. Reliable transportation is a must and the successful candidate will be self motivated, able to lift and carry 50 lbs, work independently and have an eye for detail. We expect all our employees to be extremely clean and courteous in their work. The foremen position also requires good communication, organizational and math skills as well.  A high degree of professionalism is expected at all times. Some travel may be required.

Project Manager

Our project managers possess strong organizational skills in managing projects that range from $50,000 to $5 million in contract value.

Responsibilities

Provide overall management direction for multiple projects of medium to large size and complexity. The project manager deals with all facets of the project, working closely with the estimator, superintendent and foreman to make sure that materials and manpower are available to successfully and profitably complete the job. A successful candidate must possess the ability to:

  • Read and interpret plans.
  • Estimate material requirements.
  • Lead the well-organized, professional delivery of materials and services to assigned projects,
  • Manage by planning, anticipating, budgeting, organizing, and problem solving, to achieve or beat objectives set for the project.
  • Develop and coordinate budgets and schedules.
  • Price, negotiate and track change order requests and RFI's.
  • Monitor and manage job costs as compared with the budget.
  • Manage resources and analyze data to improve our ability to spot and solve problem conditions.
  • Address general contractors' and owners' issues to assure customer satisfaction is constantly achieved.
  • Act as liaison between the Company and the client.

Requirements

  • 4 year related degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or field experience.
  • 5+ years project management experience in drywall or similar trade.
  • Good communication, organizational and math skills.
  • Proven track record for working well for/with General Contractors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of codes and construction techniques as they relates to our business as well as how they interrelate with other trades and overall job schedules.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Excel and Word.
Knowledge of OnCenter and scheduling software like Microsoft Project and Primavera Sure Track a plus.
