Associated Drywall Partners is a drywall contracting company that has performed commercial, multi-family, and single family residential drywall work in over 22 states throughout the United States. We have been in the drywall business since 1992, serving the hospitality industry, the residential markets as well as commercial customers. Since our inception we have done a significant number of hotels, apartments, condominiums, student housing, assisted living projects, and residential homes for both production builders and custom builders.
In addition, we perform a significant number of commercial projects including office buildings, medical facilities, storage facilities, tenant buildouts and other retail.

Carnevale Drywall Contractors is established in Elkhart, Indiana
1994
Carnevale Drywall becomes an Indiana corporation
1995
Carnevale Drywall Contractors, Inc begins contracting multi-family apartment projects
1998
CDCI name is revised to Drywall Contractors Inc.
1999
DCI relocates to Indianapolis
2001
DCI pulls permits to build headquarters on the east side of Indianapolis
2002
DCI moves into its brand new building headquarters, where the company remains today
2004
DCI recycles over 500 tons of drywall
2005
Drywall Contractors Inc. adopts Associated Drywall Partners as its DBA trade name
2007
ADP purchases A&L Drywall, the leading single family drywall contractor in Indianapolis
2009
ADP has operations in 9 states working on projects in IN, MI, IL, OH, KY, MO, TN, AL & GA
2011
ADP completes 380 housing units at Whiteman AFB in Missouri
ADP is named to Walls & Ceilings Top 50 Contractors for the first time (and has remained on the Top 50 list each year since!)

As the company history demonstrates, ADP has completed projects from Kansas to Connecticut; Michigan to Florida and most states in between. While performing work in the different locales was mostly customer driven, the company has settled into a solid book of business encompassing the I-65 corridor from Michigan to Florida. ADP utilizes a format that ensures quality, integrity & safety for our customers, employees and subcontracting crews.

Chris Smith | Vice President of Multi-Family, Partner
Chris brings over 30 years of experience to Associated Drywall Partners. He has managed and lead over $200+ million in drywall construction revenue which spans across the country with much success. Chris is responsible for the oversight of daily operations, which includes pre-construction estimating; project management; site supervision; quality and cost control, along with long-term staffing and strategic company planning. Being a lifelong Hoosier native to Morgan County you will always find Chris rooting for Indiana University but mostly he loves to spend time with his family and friends.
JJ Maule | Vice President of Single Family, Partner
JJ brings 18 years of management experience to Associated Drywall Partners. He joined ADP in 2017 as a Division Manager overseeing single family operations and has since been promoted to Vice President. JJ hails from Northern Wisconsin but has lived in the Indianapolis area for the last 20 years. He enjoys traveling, playing golf and spending time with his family.
Russ Mathes | Custom Homes Division Manager
Russ comes from a background in residential real estate brokerage. Joining ADP in 2023 as the Custom Homes Division Manager, Russ uses that experience in real estate to connect with custom home builders , meeting their expectations and attention to detail. Born and raised in the Indianapolis area his hobbies include golfing, boating, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three kids!
Raul Moreno | Single Family Division Manager, Partner
Raul began his career in 1995 working as a carpet installer, then a year later he started with ADP hanging drywall as a subcontractor. Over time he came to be an employee and has now been with us for over two decades. Raul also works with homeowners as well as home builders’ superintendents to provide solutions to problems and concerns. He was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Jalisco, Mexico, before returning to the states. Raul relaxes by spending time with family, enjoys visiting farms and playing and watching soccer.
James Bertram | Vice President of Commercial Division
James brings over two decades worth of experience in the drywall industry to ADP, where he has been since 2022. As a project manager, he is responsible for overseeing commercial estimating, and once awarded, budgeting and managing the jobs to completion for the client. James is a lifelong Indiana resident hailing from the Southport area. His interests include golf, hiking and spending time with family.
Brooklyn Maule | Vice President of Administration, Partner
Brooklyn has been involved in the administrative field for over 15 years, the majority of which has been spent with ADP. She has transitioned through many roles and is part of our executive team. She oversees all accounting functions as well as office operations. A lifelong Indiana native, Brooklyn enjoys traveling, live music and spending time with her family.
Beth Wedmore | Controller
Beth has been working in the accounting field, mostly in public accounting, for 43 years. She has been the Controller at ADP since 2018. Beth works directly with the owners and executive team in cash management, financial statement preparation, tax matters, payables and being a resource to all staff regarding tax and accounting. Beth has lived in Boone and Hamilton Counties most of her life and enjoys traveling, attending live music and theater, and spending time with family and friends, including her dogs.
Joe Carnevale | President, Founding Partner
Stephani Carnevale | CFO, Founding Partner
Joe recently celebrated 40 years of self-employment beginning in Southern California in the early 80’s. Through the years, he has built many companies based on hard work, integrity, and team building. He has been an honorary Hoosier since 1991 and enjoys spending time with his grandkids, off roading either in a side-by-side or dirt bike, and deep sea fishing in his spare time.
Growing up in the RV business in Elkhart, Indiana, Stephani’s career began at the age of 14. She has led the Administrative and Accounting teams since the company’s inception in 1992. Outside the office, you will find her reading historical fiction, cooking for her family, gardening, and traveling as much as possible.
